South Fork Trail
July 16, 2013 12:11AM
This hike was a few days after my trip to Yosemite and was about a 2,500 ft climb and 5 miles. The Meetup Group here in Anchorage regularly does Tuesday night hikes usually with 3-4,000 ft elevation gains called "Heart and Lungers".

We have had warm weather this summer (70's in Anchorage) and very little precipitation. Completely different than last summer when these same hills I am standing on got fresh snow on July 4th.
