Yosemite National Park Invites Public To Open House
The National Park Service welcomes those interested to attend an Open House in Yosemite Valley on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Visitor Center Auditorium.
The public is invited to the Open House to:
Talk to park staff and listen to presentations given throughout the day
Access the latest news on various park projects
Provide feedback on proposed projects and ongoing implementation efforts
Review design concepts and drawings related to various projects
Submit comments on projects open for public scoping
Projects and topics that will be represented at the open house are:
Hetch Hetchy Communications System Upgrade Project
Yosemite Lodge Area Redevelopment Project
Rehabilitation of the Valley Loop Road Environmental Assessment
Rehabilitation, Restoration, and Resurfacing of the Glacier Point Road
Curry Village Employee Housing
Utility improvement projects ongoing in Yosemite Valley
During this open house, the public will have the opportunity to learn about and comment on the Hetch Hetchy Communications System Upgrade Project, which begins its public scoping period on February 21, 2006. Comments for this project will be accepted through March 27, 2006.
