I had a trip report typed up, but somehow it just disappear into the neverland.
So here is link to the pictures, with a little narrative on Flickr.
It was a good trip,no smoke, mosquitoes, and not many people. Other than having to be aware of water sources I really can't complain.
The route was Mono Meadows Trailhead - up the Buena Vista Trail to Buena Vista Lake then around the loop past Royal Arch Lake to Johnson Lake.
Out past Chilnualna Creek (dry) Turner Meadow (dry) and down Bridalviel Creek (mostly dry). Out at Ostrander Lake trailhead and walk back along
Glacier Point Road to the truck at Mono Meadows Trailhead.
