Drove to Cherry last week... and saw firsthand the burn from Cherry Oil Road...
Pretty significant...

Here is what it looked like from Jones Pt. in 2011:

and now what it looks like from the road...

Will probably go back sooner rather than later and walk out to Jones and get the same pix... but u should get the idear...
It's a lot of burn... Quite striking...

Doesn't make it any nicer to see the devestation but there will probably be a lot of wild flowers, starting with Lupine.
