Hello--
Has anyone ever done this? Is it a crazy idea?
I've been doing Snow Creek cabin every year for 10 years and looked at the east to west(Mono pass to Yosemite Valley) trip stats and it seems manageable.
I understand all the of the risk of winter travel and camping.
I know skis are way faster and better, but is trans Sierra on snow shoes viable or am I missing something?
Looking for opinion and perspectives.
