Since this forum will be specifically about hiking and backpacking, how would people feel if it was broaden a bit not just to include the Sierra Nevada region, but also for discussing hiking and backpacking throughout California, including the southern Cascades, Death Valley and the deserts (and other wilderness areas located in California)? Or would that be too broad of scope?
