Last Friday I snowshoed into Sequoia NP's Pear Lake Ski Hut, day hiked to the ridge above Moose Lake on Saturday, and returned Sunday. The snow conditions were non-existent until the upper part of The Hump, where they were mixed up to the top. From there I was on snow to the hut, though the route above Aster Lake was part-rock-part-snow.
