We will be camping up in Tuolumne the next few nights. Just learned that some friends will be backpacking into Toejam lake same dates. I do not know that area at all. Is there somewhere in the middle that we could meet up for lunch that has decent trails from either direction? We all have kids (8-12 yrs old), and the kids can hike well, but that is a consideration in terms of the hike.
