Z Old Stick N Fedders n Eye ran into some Kayakers at the Shingle TH on Sunday.
They asked about conditions in Cherry Creek Canyon...

In a nutshell... it's not pretty for kayaking...

There is scant snow left to melt... so any spring runoff... is not going to happen...

Pretty soon it will be in perfect condition for roller skating.

Luckily the kayakers know that with a nice late winter storm ....
followed by a warm spell... and you get some nice runoff...
looked almost perfect last weekend...
