You can manually resize any photo you post here by using the 'size=<pixels width>' modifier within the [img] tag that you tagged the photo with. So the [img] tags for the photo that you posted could look like this:
[img size=800]http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/e/6/c/highres_437188268.jpeg[/img]
and the resulting photo will appear like this (only 800 pixels wide):

imo most of the snow that you see in your photo is from the storm from the previous weekend...
and amazingly to my chick-on brain nearly all the snow from that storm that was not
on north facing slopes was melted by the subsequent heat wave.
been out 49 days this year so far with 31 nights in the backcountry and have used
snowshoes a grand total of 3 days... and 2 of those were going to Bernice Lake
and over Vogelsang Pass... the trail from the south (on Valentines Day) had a bunch
of bare patches....
last weekend we were a bit south... and yes, it's lower elevation-ish... but it should
have had significant snow to deal with... nearly 50 miles and never once had
to touch any snow... pretty pathetic
