These two photos, side-by-side, made me realize that there's one type of shot I haven't seen from your vast collection of photographs.

I've seen plenty of great 3D shots, and more recently a lot of shots of your, Basil and JKW's (and friends) flotilla of pack rafts in the waters of Yosemite, but I haven't yet seen in 3D shots of said boats!

Just wondering, have you tried to taking some? I think 3D shots of your fleet would look awesome if you manage to pull it off.

Thanks again for sharing another great weekend adventure! I love how just hours later, the summer-like conditions are gone and I'm seeing a nice snow covering the mountains... Here's hoping we have a decent winter.. And more fun!!!

The two on dry land are fabulous! Really great effect.

I can see what's the major difficulty about the water shot is, though: the waves! The trees and the boats with the dynamic duo look fine, but the waves (especially in the foreground) mess up with the effect. But a big thanks for posting the photo. Glad that you gave it a try!

The dynamic duo just zip around creating all kinds of waves...
Sometime I think they have a cape under their hike-on clothes...

But yeah, they have been incredibly dynamic and accommodating and a pleasure to hike with,
boat with, explore with, and pretty much just goof around Yosemite the entire year.
Can't thank them enough.

Up out of Clark Canyon. Take a look north and east of Mount Clark...
10,987... right there...

Lots of ways there... (first time was there went UP and OVER Clark)


This time we went up Clark Canyon from Merced River by Echo Valley
