Hello Folks!
Hope you all had a great weekend! So if you can recall, I recently purchased down booties for the significant other. It sounded like a great idea at first but now I think I might've opened pandora's box...she wants down pants now for winter in-camp wear..
Did you research and found the following: WM Flash, Montbell Superior Down, and the Feathered Friends Helios.
Anyone have any experiences with these 3?
As much as I'd like to get the Feathered Friends, I'm concerned she might overheat in her sleeping bag with them. She wore sweatpants + down booties this past weekend and still felt cold in the legs. Feet were fine. I did NOT use a warm Nalgene this time for her.
The montbell, from reviews, seems to be the least warmest and is the cheapest so considering that one.

What I do very often... is...
I'll slip the down pants off during the night and shove them down
into the footbox. Like that they keep my feet nice and toasty.
My feet will typically get cold before anything else.
That with the down booties.... nom nom
