Not impressed?

Looks like a rugged route! On the way to Sierra Point? Never been there and it's on my list if I end up venturing around valley

Is that the old road which goes past Artist's Point, down to Bridalveil Falls area? I recall trees down on it when I did with you a bit ago.. but yikes.. looks like a heck of a slide zone.

Wow! Many thanks for the photos. I haven't been up there for a while (7 weeks of downhill skiing got in the way), but I know and love that part of the old Wawona Road. The abandoned phone cable going from Turtle Dome to the Valley gives away the location, plus that view of Ribbon Falls. But there has clearly been some serious new avalanche activity this year...

Glad you like. Figured you would.
You definitely should check it out next time in the area.
As I approached I thought the entire road was gone!

Glad you are out there enjoying the snow!
