Looking at camping and day hiking in Tuolumne Meadows in early August. Aside from Tenaya to Clouds Rest, I haven't explored this area. My crew might all be strong hikers up for 15+ miles or I could have a couple in the party who will top out at 10 miles. Any recommendations?

Some of my favorite Day Hikes from TM:

Gaylor Lakes
Cathedral Lakes
Glen Aulin
Budd Lake--possibly connection over to Cathedral lakes for a loop.
Lembert Dome/Dog Lake
Mt Dana

For more adventure/longer hikes:

Young Lakes rt (14 miles)
Up Lyell, over to Vogelsang, and down Rafferty (16 miles?)

You cannot go wrong hiking around up there.
