Yosemite Crews 6 and 9 are conducting Harden Fire Suppression Rehabilitation work. The lightning caused Harden fire began June 8, 2009. Crews are in the area conducting extensive work to make it look as though no one was there during fire operations. The Rehab work, to return the Yosemite Wilderness wild again, include pulling all sprinklers, and hose from the area; pull flagging; flush -cut stumps and cover with soil; pull slash into the black, pile and burn when possible; sweeping and raking spike camps, landing zones and sling-load spots; and obliterating handlines where it crosses trails and eliminating social trails. The work will take a few days. The crews are being assisted by Yosemite Resource personnel .
