Hiker's body found near Edison Lake

Fresno County sheriff's searchers rescued one of two missing hikers Wednesday and found the body of the second hiker Thursday afternoon east of Edison Lake.

The body of Cory Largman, 64, of Berkeley was found near a tent in the Third Recess area. Sheriff's spokesman Chris Curtice said Largman appears to have died as a result of injuries suffered in a fall...

Mosquito Flat Trailhead is where our group trip began this last July; Mono Pass is a very rugged pass. Third and Fourth Recess isquite beautiful, but not the place I would want to be wandering around, lost (it has lots of scree and many steep passages)
