Due to the impact of recent storms this year, the Mariposa Grove Road will be opening to traffic later than usual. While we do not yet have a firm opening date, we expect that it will be early to mid May before vehicles of any size will be allowed on the road. Parking at South Entrance for visitors wishing to hike up the road into the grove is very limited. To help mitigate this problem, DNC will start shuttling visitors from Wawona to South Entrance weekends only beginning April 24th. Daily service will begin May 7th. Please Shuttle hours will be 9am to 6pm.
