i hiked up to Vernal Falls yesterday with my wife and some friends...PERFECT day! 80 degrees with a nice breeze.
we saw a buck right along the walk path to Lower Yosemite Falls, everyone was taking photos of it... then right as we were going home (Hwy 120) , we saw a big bear right across the street from the gas station at Crane Flat. i took video of it, tons of people were there to photograph also.
the falls were amazing, everything full and the meadows STILL green. glad we went on a thursday, i can't imagine how crowded it's going to be this weekend!
