Extreme northeastern mariposa county in central california...
Southeastern tuolumne county in central california...

* until 730 pm pdt

* at 423 pm pdt doppler radar indicated up to 3 inches of rain has
Fallen over the last 1-2 hours due to very slow moving
Thunderstorms just south of tuolomne meadows and tioga pass in
Yosemite park.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are possible in
The advisory area through 7 pm.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
Potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
Flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
Swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.

Do not underestimate the power of flood waters. Only a few inches of
Rapidly flowing water can quickly carry away your vehicle.
