Devils Postpile National Monument and the Reds Meadow Valley

Devils Postpile and the Reds Meadow Valley are scheduled to be open to visitors until October 31, 2010, weather permitting. The valley and the monument could close temporarily at any time prior to October 15. After October 15, the valley and the monument could close for the season if there is a significant snowfall event. For this reason, there is no overnight parking anywhere in the Reds Meadow Valley including Devils Postpile National Monument after October 15, 2010. Call ahead if planning trips in September and October to check on weather and road conditions.
