Ahead of the system...Gusty winds up to 40 mph may impact areas
Along highway 395 from susanville...Through reno and south into
Mono county. Wind gusts on the sierra ridges will reach 60 to 80
Mph on sunday.
Rain and snow will reach the northern sierra and northeast
California sunday morning with snow levels starting at 7000 to
7500 feet. As the cold front approaches sunday afternoon...Snow
Levels fall to near 7000 feet around the tahoe basin...With
Several inches of snow possible over donner pass and echo summit
Through early monday morning. Before the snow ends...Snow levels
May drop to lake level with light accumulations possible.
Farther south in mono county...Snow is expected to begin sunday
Afternoon and continue through early monday morning as the front
Moves through the central sierra. Several inches of snow are
