trail conditions Happy Isles

Trail from Happy Isles to Vernal Falls bridge is very icy. From bridge to Clark point packed snow maybe a foot and a half wide. Decided to turn back below Clark Point due to small snow avalanche covering trail. Looked like another hiker used snow shoes to go around under area, but was not comfortable trying to take my mom that way. Would have loved to see Nevada Falls. Maybe next time. Low crowds, tons of water. Saw a bear at Bridalvale Falls parking lot yesterday.
