So, what's your guess on how the potential shutdown will impact Yosemite? How did it work the last time? Will the Valley and Yosemite Lodge stay open?

Last time they locked the gates.

This question was asked on National Parks Traveler. I was wondering if they could actually shut off access to the inholdings (Foresta, Wawona) as well as the only road access to Yosemite West. Aren't there people who actually live in those areas, and not just as vacation homes?
