...High elevation snow and wind...

A cold late season pacific storm system will move into california
Late today and move across the region on sunday with very cold
Temperatures and light high elevation snow. Snow levels are
Expected to be around 7000 feet today and lower to around 5500
Feet tonight and into sunday. Winds will be very strong along the
Crest of the sierra with west winds around 60 mph. Up to 2 inches
Of snow is possible above 6000 feet with some higher amounts in
Favorable upslope locations.

If you are planning to travel to the higher elevations of the
Sierra...Please prepare for winter-like weather. Bring warm
Clothing and be prepared for road closures above 7000 feet.

What I really want to know is if my tomato plants will actually grow and produce this year? This cold, gray weather around here isn't helping. smiling smiley
