This hazardous weather outlook is for all of interior central
California.

.Day one...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.Days two through seven...Thursday through tuesday

A large low pressure system will move south along the california
Coast early this weekend...Then shift inland sunday. Although
There is still some uncertainty with this system...There is a
Chance of rain and higher elevation snow as well as windy conditions
For much of the area. The heavier and more widespread precipitation
Is expected north of kings canyon and the central san joaquin
Valley.

Sigh.

Considering what the radar is showing this morning this could turn out to be a wet, miserable kind of day.

Here in the Santa Clara Valley it is pouring down hard at the moment. Santa Cruz Mountain gauges like at Boulder Creek will be over 3 inches soon and Mining Peak in the Santa Lucia's is well over 5 inches. Radar shows it just moving into the central Sierra now though won't be as strong as along the coast due to the track of the low. Much of the region lost its green in early May. Will be interesting in the coming weeks if it causes any late season greening of our hills. Creeks will all come back from their mud and tree frogs may get happy.
