...Convective outlook...

A deep surge of monsoon moisture will move into central california
Tonight and tuesday. Thunderstorms will be increasing across the
Southern sierra nevada...The tehachapi mountains...And the kern
County deserts tuesday and wednesday. Some of the thunderstorms
Could linger or even develop during the nighttime hours.

The flow aloft will be such that some thunderstorms could drift
Into parts of the san joaquin valley...Especially near the
Foothills on the west side of the valley and in the south end.

Some of the thunderstorms could produce very heavy rain in a
Short period of time...Gusty winds...As well as dangerous cloud to
Ground lightning. Flash flooding is possible in the mountains and
Deserts tuesday afternoon and evening.

This hazardous weather outlook is for the east central and
Southern san joaquin valley...The southern sierra nevada and
Adjacent foothills...And the kern county mountains and deserts.

.Day one...Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible tonight. Heavy
Rain is possible with some of the storms and flash flooding is
Possible.

A flood watch remains in effect for the tulare and kern county
Mountains as well as the kern county desert until 10 pm tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible wednesday. Heavy

Nevada...And the kern county mountains and deserts.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through early
Evening. Locally heavy rain is possible with some of the storms
And flash flooding is possible. A flash flood watch is in effect
For the tulare and kern county mountains as well as the kern
County desert from noon to 9 pm pdt.

.Days two through seven...Thursday through tuesday

Afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected thursday with
Locally heavy rain remaining a possibility...With a diminishing
Chance friday and saturday.
