Rafting through the Valley on the Merced

After looking at the river levels on the hydrologic guages it looks like rafting should be allowed. Maybe not the raft rentals are out there yet but are the private rafts running the river in the Valley? If I were there I think I would do it.

I got back a few days ago and there were quite a few personal rafts on the river. They said they were giving out tickets but I didnt see it happen, I also heard the only reason that the rental stand wasnt open was because of a few trees that needed to be cleared from the river

I sure hope it's open by Sunday. We have our own raft, but prefer not to break any rules.

According the park's Facebook page, rafting is open now.
