Any weather mavens out there? Someone who can read the landscape and take an educated guess at what the weather will be like in the high country mid-September? When might the snows start again?

Cloudy with a chance of Chick-on is looking at you!

(ok, I guarantee it)

Prepare for snow the last week of September. Lately I've been snowed on the first week of October.
I recall at least 3 years...

Fall is a beautiful time.

Uh... I will kindly wager you a box of Twinkies I don't get snowed on over Labor Day
while running around Northern Yosemite...

But yes, in no time the snow will be flying and Tioga and GP roads will be closed again.
