Work Begins on East End of Tenaya Lake

The Yosemite FM Trails bridge crew is working at the east end of Tenaya Lake, rerouting the existing beach access trail away from a designated wetland. The trail crew will likely work until Tioga Road closes for the winter. A portion of the asphalt parking lot is being used as staging of materials, but the area remains completely open to the public. Next summer/fall, after the trail reroute is complete, the Yosemite RMS Restoration crew will restore the existing trail to natural condition.
