Don't know if had been noted on another thread, but the Park Service announced on their Yosemite Facebook page that the Mist Trail up to Vernal Falls was officially opened for the season on Thursday (4/19).
(Of coures, anyone who had been to the park recently might have noticed that people had been on the Mist Trail during the past several weeks despite it being officially "closed".)
