Glacier Point Road is experiencing a temporary road closure due to snow. The road will be cleared and reopened as conditions allow. Please check road information for updates at 209-372-0200 (press 1 then 1).

Is the road open? I've called that number and listened carefully to the message.

It says the road is open.

However I'm wondering if they've updated the message from closed to open, or never updated the message to say it was closed to begin with.

It should be open. They stated earlier that it'd only be closed long enough to get the snow off the pavement.
