...An unseasonably cold storm will impact the central california
Interior today and tuesday...

A storm system off of the british columbia coast will track
Southeastward during the today and tuesday. The associated cold
Front will bring substantially cooler weather to the central
California interior...Beginning in the north today...And across
The entire region tuesday.

As the storm moves inland...It will bring an increase in clouds
And the possibility of wet weather from fresno county northward
This afternoon and evening. The showers will be most numerous
In the sierra north of kings canyon. While the snow level will be
Well above 8000 feet...A few snow showers could occur as low as
7000 feet late tonight in and near yosemite park. Little if any
Accumulation is expected.

The storm will also be accompanied by gusty winds this afternoon
Through tuesday evening...Particularly through and below the
Mountain passes of kern county and along the sierra crest where
Winds may gust to 50 mph or higher. Gusty winds to 30 mph will
Also occur in the san joaquin valley. Areas of blowing dust are
Possible...And could result in degraded air quality late today.

It will be much cooler tuesday with temperatures some 15 to 20
Degrees below normal. As the upper low pressure area moves east of
The area tuesday evening...Winds will diminish...And a gradual
Warmup will occur for the remainder of the week.
