El Portal Gas Station Update

Installation of new underground tanks at the El Portal Gas station is complete, and workers have moved on to repairing and improving the facility. After starting work on the building, contractors found significant damage to the roof, walls, and electrical work. Repairs to these features, as well as installation of a wheelchair accessible restroom, are being completed before the gas station can be safely opened. It is anticipated these repairs will delay opening of the gas station until late July.

I would say late August if they work at the rate they have been. I've seen tanks removed and replaced in a week. It took this crew months. Their glacial speed was fitting for Yosemite though.
