Hi all,

I am a long time visitor of this forum, and just returned from my trip to Yosemite. In the early morning hours (7:00 AM) on June 29, the Search and Rescue helicopter was making its rounds to what appeared to be the area around Half Dome. Does anybody know why? I hope everything is okay.

We saw it too. I saw the basket hanging from the helicopter as it headed towards the Village

A hiker was injured off-trail and taken to the clinic with a short-haul.
