Beer at High Sierra camp

Is it possible to buy the
beer at high Sierra camp,just like at Phantom Ranch?

NO!! We were looking for a beer at the Merced Camp once and all that was available was lemonade.

I haven't been there myself, but my friends who hiked in there recently had bribed some horse trekkers to carry in booze for them. Apparently those guests have a baggage allowance, or else the guides do. As I recall, the bribe was cigars, rather than money, but I'll bet that money works....

Still, booze is much more weight efficient than beer is for packing in.

On the plus side, the Tuolumne Meadows store has had a pretty good selection of beers to choose from whenever I have looked.
