Ice Cut Closure

The Ice Cut section of the John Muir Trail is closed for the duration of the winter season due to snow/icy conditions. Visitors may hike up the lower half of the JMT to Clark's Point but then must detour to the Mist Trail.

Has Mist below Vernal been closed?

i.e. are the full winter closures in place?
