...Thunderstorm outlook...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible over the southern sierra
Nevada and the tehachapi mountains today. Thursday...The fourth of
July...And friday may see the best
Chances for thunderstorms.

If you have outdoor plans in the southern sierra nevada and
Tehachapi mountains this week...Be prepared for an afternoon or
Evening thunderstorm in the higher elevations. Campers...Hikers...And
Boaters should keep an eye on the sky...And if threatening weather
Approaches...Seek safe shelter or harbor.

Thunderstorms can produce dangerous cloud to ground lightning
Along with strong gusty winds...Brief heavy rain and hail.
Remember also...Lightning and strong winds can occur miles away
From the parent thunderstorm.
