Tuolumne River Levels Near Campground

Staying at Tuolumne Meadows Campground July 20-26th. Any recent observations of the creek levels adjacent to the campground? Planning water play and fishing activities for the kids. Backup plan wound be spending more time at Tenaya Lake. Thanks!

Had a leisurely day along Tioga Rd last Sunday but did not go near the campgrounds. However, the water level was low everywhere we stopped. We did see two fisherman walking from the area of the Lyell and Dana forks but none anywhere else. We had planned to fish the forks but it was really hot when we were walking to Parson's Lodge and my son was having heat issues and we ended up not fishing so I can't tell you if it will be good while you are there. People were swimming in Tenaya Lake and the water near the shore was cool but not cold. We did try fishing above Swinging Bridge in Wawona but the water level was low and the water temp was around 70 so the fish were hiding in the deep pools below the bridge. Unfortunately, those pools were near where people were swimming so we could not fish there.

Have a great time no matter what you decide to do.
