DNC Valley Stables Re-opening

DNC Valley Stable operation is opening January 17, 2014 while the weather is mild and the trails are dry. Two hour rides are available daily from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, and 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm. For details about the ride and rate, go to YosemitePark.com. Reservations can be made by calling the Valley Stables Office (starting this Thursday, January 16) at 209-372-8348. The stables will remain open until the weather and trail conditions change.

With Badger Pass closed, DNC is looking for ways to replace lost revenue. Hence the bike rentals and now the stables have been reopened.

Who knows, they might even start up the raft rentals again in a few weeks. wink

Will be there this weekend. Anyone know if the road to the Mariposa Grove has reopened? Glacier Point road? Staying at the Redwoods near Wawona.

GP Road is closed.

Mariposa Grove Road was open the last 2 weekends... so no reason it won't be open this weekend.
(there seems to be a 0% chance of precip again this weekend)
