The Forest Service prepared this Environmental Assessment (EA) in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other relevant Federal and State laws and regulations. This EA discloses the direct, indirect, and cumulative environmental effects that would result from the Proposed Action and the No Action alternatives. Additional documentation, including more detailed analyses of project-area resources, may be found in the project planning record located at the Stanislaus National Forest office in Sonora, California.

Comments may be: mailed to the Stanislaus National Forest; Attn: Rim HT; 19777 Greenley Road; Sonora, CA 95370; delivered to the address shown above during business hours (M-F 8:00am to 4:30 p.m.); or, submitted by FAX (209) 533-1890. Submit electronic comments, in common (.doc, .pdf, .rtf, .txt) formats, to: comments-pacificsouthwest-stanislaus@fs.fed.us with Subject: Rim HT. Comments received, including the names and addresses of those who comment, will be considered part of the public record on this proposal and will be available for public inspection.
