This hazardous weather outlook is for the southern sierra nevada
From yosemite to kings canyon.

...Snow and gusty winds...

.Day one...Today and tonight

No hazardous weather expected.

.Days two through seven...Tuesday through sunday

* snow accumulations: 6 to 12 inches.

* elevation: at and above 5000 feet.

* winds: west 25 to 35 mph along the crest with gusts to 50 mph.

* timing: snow will arrive by tuesday evening and continue...Heavy
At times into wednesday night before diminishing to flurries
Thursday morning.

* locations include: tioga pass...Tuolumne meadows...Huntington
Lake...Shaver lake...Yosemite national park south entrance.

* impacts: blowing and drifting snow with winter driving
Conditions...Possible road closures.

Me also, in all three (Upper, Lower & North) at one point or another over the years. eye rolling smiley I feel for those folks tomorrow.

We used to joke that if somewhere was having a drought, they should invite us to go camp there. We always liked to camp in Yosemite in May so we got rained on a lot. Maybe we should go camping soon and break this drought.

Man I wish I could go out to Shaver Lake and maybe hit the Dinkey Lakes loop.
