A hazard tree survey performed on June 10th this year identified over 25 dead trees affecting the campground in Little Yosemite Valley. July 21 - 24 NPS Forestry personnel will be felling these trees in the campground and near the Ranger station. Protection staff in Little Yosemite Valley will be coordinating relocation of campers to designated areas a safe distance from the work area. Visitors planning a trip during this time should be informed that this work is taking place. Noise from power saws and trees felling will disrupt the serenity of the area during the work shift beginning Tuesday morning through Wednesday.
