Archeological investigations in the Mariposa Grove will begin on Tuesday, November 11. The archeological work will not affect Mariposa Grove visitor parking lots. Initial work will take place behind the gift shop. The work will move to the front of the gift shop Wednesday through Friday while the shuttle is not running and the gift shop is closed. Work will also take place near the South Entrance near the Old Washburn Road. Work should be completed by the end of the day on November 17th.
