Inches of snow over the high country.
* elevation: above 6500 feet.
* timing...Precipitation starting late tonight. Heavy snow
Developing during the predawn hours. Snow diminishing and
Turning to snow showers during the early afternoon saturday.
* impacts...Travel delays across the sierra with possible chain
Restrictions.
* winds...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
