The Yosemite Helicopter Rescue Team will be conducting annual high angle hoist training in El Capitan Meadow on Tuesday August, 18th and Wednesday, August 19th. Traffic control will be in place on El Cap straight, and the East Buttress of Middle Cathedral will be closed to climbing for the duration of the training.
