Timothy had a wilderness permit to backpack from Happy Isles to Tuolumne Meadows from September 1-4. According to his mother, he had planned on hiking a loop: Happy Isles-Little Yosemite Valley-Sunrise Lakes-Tuolumne Meadows-Lyell Canyon-Rafferty Creek-Vogelsang-Merced Lake-Little Yosemite Valley-Happy Isles, ending September 9.
Timothy is a 36-year-old white male, 5 ft 4 in, 130 pounds, with short hair.
