...Winter weather advisory in effect from 4 am to 10 pm pst
Sunday...

The national weather service in hanford has issued a winter
Weather advisory for snow...Which is in effect from 4 am to 10 pm
Pst sunday from yosemite to kings canyon.


* timing...Snow will begin near yosemite early sunday morning and
Spread south through the morning and afternoon.

* snow levels...Near 6500 feet early sunday morning...Lowering to
Near 5000 feet by sunday afternoon. Snow levels will continue
Lowering down to near 4000 feet sunday night.

* snow accumulations...3 to 7 inches above 6000 feet with local
Amounts up to 10 inches. 1 to 2 inches below 6000 feet.

* impacts...Snow covered roads and slick travel conditions.
Highways that will be impacted include highway 41 near fish camp
Leading into yosemite national park...Highway 120 and highway
168 from shaver lake to huntington lake.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
Will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
Covered roads and limited visibilities...And use caution while
Driving.
