Rafting predictions this year with high snow pack

Any predictions, based on previous years, as to when rafting might open? When does it usually open in high snow pack years? Any historical data out there? I am looking at taking the family at the end of June, either last or second to last week. But would like rafting to be open.

The river stage (depth) must read less than 6.5 feet at Sentinel Bridge and the sum of air temperature and water temperature must be more than 100°F. The last few years the flows have been comparatively low in mid June. With El Nino this year, it's anybody's guess but I'm betting you'll be rafting the last half of June.

We were on the water April 4 in 2015:

Those are down jackets, not PFDs. The water + air temperature was probably 70-ish degrees. It snowed two days later.

The season ended in late October:

(There was a claim of a late-season Mirror Lake float, but... Mirror Lake was frozen solid, so no floating took place there, and what floating did happen was on a body of water that isn't Mirror Lake.)

World-Famous I-got-the-T-shirt Loch Tablae (a/k/a Table Lake), top, and Merced Lake, bottom.

This is Tenaya Lake:

The pack-cover-or-umbrella-as-sail technique is still being perfected.

And yes: frozen lake = no boating. Not sure why some people struggle with this concept :-)
