This article was dated April 1 and I hope it was a April Fools Day joke. Is it true? A reservoir near me has had the balls added so I know that this is happening in other places.

EDIT: I found out at 12:30 am that is was a massive April Fools Day joke by going on the Restore Hetch Hetchy FB page. Got me concerned for a while since I know it has been done at other reservoirs. I wish they would take that darn dam down already.
