"Climate change trends, impacts, and vulnerabilities in Yosemite and across U.S. National Parks" by Dr. Patrick Gonzalez, Principle Climate Change Scientist, National Park Service

New spatial and statistical analyses of historical and projected climate change trends across the 50 U.S. states and each of the 411 U.S. national parks provide consistent climate change data for vulnerability analyses and adaptation of resource management. Published research using field data from Yosemite National Park has detected numerous physical and ecological changes attributable to human climate change, projected future vulnerabilities, and identified possible solutions.

The Forum will take place Tuesday, June 14th from 3:00 to 4:30 pm in the Yosemite Valley Auditorium. Please note the earlier start time (3:00 pm rather than 3:30 pm) to accommodate a longer discussion session after the talk. F
